Terms of Service

1. Definitions
"TradesBooked", "we", "us", "our" refers to the trading entity operating TradesBooked.co.uk, based in Bournemouth, Dorset, UK. "Client", "you", "your" refers to the business or individual engaging TradesBooked services. "Services" means the Growth System package including website build, SEO, automation, and ongoing management as described on the website.
2. Scope of Services
Services are described on tradesbooked.co.uk and confirmed in a written agreement or order form. Setup services (website, SEO foundation, automation install) are delivered as one-time work. Ongoing services (hosting, SEO optimisation, automation monitoring, reporting) are provided on a monthly subscription basis. We reserve the right to update service scope with 30 days' notice.
3. Fees and Payment
Setup fees are payable in full upon agreement before work commences. Monthly fees are charged in advance and due on the same date each month. Late payment of more than 14 days may result in suspension of ongoing services. All fees are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Pass-through costs (domain registration, Google Workspace, SMS/email usage) are billed at cost and are separate from our fees.
4. The 90-Day Guarantee
The guarantee applies where the client remains on the active monthly plan continuously for 90 days from go-live date. A "qualified enquiry" means a genuine inbound contact from a prospective customer in your service area requesting your trade service. We do not guarantee a specific number of leads, revenue amount, or booked jobs. The guarantee is void if the client changes service area or trade category without notice, fails to co-operate as specified in the onboarding agreement, or falls into payment arrears. Under the guarantee, TradesBooked will continue delivering the same agreed scope of services at no additional charge for up to a further 90 days.
5. Exclusivity Policy
TradesBooked operates a "one trade per area" policy. We define exclusivity as one business per primary trade category (plumbing, electrical, roofing, building, etc.) within a 5-mile radius of the client's primary service postcode. Exclusivity applies only while the client maintains an active monthly subscription. Exclusivity lapses after 30 days of cancelled or suspended subscription.
6. Client Obligations
The client agrees to: provide accurate business information, photos, and service details as requested during onboarding; respond to calls, messages, and review requests promptly; approve website and Google Business content within 5 business days of submission; notify TradesBooked of any change in trade category, service area, or business details. Failure to meet obligations may affect guarantee eligibility.
7. Intellectual Property
Upon completion of setup and receipt of setup payment in full, all website content, design, and SEO work delivered by TradesBooked becomes the property of the client. TradesBooked retains the right to reference the client's website in its own portfolio unless explicitly agreed otherwise. Third-party software, platforms, and tools used in the system are subject to their own licensing terms.
8. Cancellation
Either party may cancel the monthly subscription with 30 days' written notice. Upon cancellation, the client retains full ownership of all setup deliverables (website, SEO work, domain if registered in client name). Ongoing services (hosting, automation monitoring, reporting) cease at the end of the notice period. A handover pack containing all credentials, DNS settings, and migration guidance will be provided within 10 business days of cancellation.
9. Limitation of Liability
TradesBooked's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the services is limited to the total fees paid by the client in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses, loss of revenue or profit, or any loss arising from third-party platform changes (including Google algorithm updates). Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by our negligence.
10. Data Protection
Both parties agree to comply with applicable UK data protection legislation including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. TradesBooked will process client business data only as required to deliver the services. See our Privacy Policy for full detail on data handling.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active clients with a minimum of 30 days' notice. Continued use of the services after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
